Down In Mexico, feelin free as the Air.... You bet. Ensenada has been a great place to start our Mexican Journey. We booked a dock for three days at Baja Naval boat yard and what a great place. They immediately helped us with all the forms we had to fill out for temporary boat importation, landing cards, and paying fees and Carlos then walked us over and made sure all went well. It was magic. We also found the National Parks office and bought our passports for a year of park entries. This place was a little hard to find so here is what you do. Find the Casino which is right, on the main street in front of the Marina. Walk over the bridge past the Cruise ship docks and turn left and walk along the national history museum and watch for the Casino signs on the right. Walk along the casino until you reach the back of the building where you will see offices on three levels. Walk down the back to about mid building and you will see a staircase. Take this to the Third floor and go right to the last office. They were very helpful and got us all signed up and then sent us off to pay the bill at the nearest bank. The price was 333 pesos per person or about $22 Canadian per person for the year passport. When we returned with the receipt they gave us our passports to adventure. We also found Costco Ensenada and stocked up on all of our dry goods. It was a long walk there and a taxi back but we are now stocked up for at least six months if necessary. We have found some great blankets and a mask Sarah fell in love with.
We have found many good restaurants and will be posting videos on them and pics of the region in the near future at our Youtube channel, Theros Sailing Adventure. Tomorrow we head south to places yet unknown and will post when we can. More soon.
Peace, Love and Light
Brett and Sarah.
