The main test I am doing on Tuesday is a kidney function test. I will be injected with a radio active isotope. I will then have a urine test every hour for three hours to measure the amount of isotope left in my system. It gives the transplant team a very clear idea how my kidney's are working. It is a pass or fail test that could disqualify me from donating a kidney. It has been made very clear that I must drink as much water as possible for the next few days. Public loos cost up to 50 p or half a pound to use. This could be an expensive walk....lol
I have a special request for all those out there who read this blog. My Dear Friends Cayce and John's son is going through cancer treatments for leukaemia. His bone marrow has just been checked and I truly wish to send him good vibes and prayers for a clear test and good outcome.
Mind how you go...
